We are excited to officially welcome Yakira Rosa as our new Director of Basketball Operations!
Yakira brings a powerful full-circle story to our program — having proudly played AAU basketball in her youth and now stepping into a leadership role to guide the next generation. A former four-year starting point guard at William Paterson University, Yakira built her career on leadership, competitiveness, and high basketball IQ.
After her collegiate playing career, she transitioned into coaching at FDU Florham before moving to the Division I level at Rider University, where she served as Director of Basketball Operations and fourth assistant coach. Her experience spans player development, recruiting, scouting, strength & conditioning, and day-to-day program management.
In addition to her collegiate work, Yakira trains athletes of all ages and levels — from youth to professional players — giving her a comprehensive understanding of long-term athlete development.
Her passion, organization, and deep knowledge of the game make her an incredible addition to our leadership team.
