MEET Jehiah Cook
BASKETBALL COACH
Jehiah Cook is a former Division I athlete and the founder of Cloud Jai Training, a premier basketball development program based in Brooklyn, NY, serving athletes throughout the tri-state area. A California native, Jehiah moved to New York City in 2016 with a vision: to transform young athletes by sharing the same high-level training, discipline, and passion that shaped her own career.
Jehiah’s basketball journey began in Sacramento, where she starred at Sacramento High School. Her standout performance earned her a full athletic scholarship to UNLV, where she played from 2012 to 2015 before transferring to Bryant & Stratton College. There, she dominated the court — earning First-Team All-American, Player of the Year, and First-Team All-Conference honors, while averaging 27 points and 7 assists per game. She also earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Bryant & Stratton, laying a strong foundation for her future as both a trainer and entrepreneur.
Rather than pursue a professional career overseas, Jehiah chose a different path: one where she could mentor, inspire, and elevate the next generation of players. Through Cloud Jai Training, she blends her elite playing background with a sharp coaching eye, helping athletes reach new heights both on and off the court.
Jehiah specializes in:
- Ball handling
- Finishing at the rim
- Footwork and body control
She’s worked with athletes who’ve gone on to play at the collegiate level, and currently trains players with active Division I offers. Her sessions focus on game-like drills, confidence building, and a deep understanding of basketball fundamentals — always delivered with purpose, energy, and a contagious love for the game.
Jehiah is currently training at Downtown Sports Club, and continues to travel across the tri-state area for group and individual sessions.
