MEET FELICIA “FEESH” DACRUZ

Felicia DaCruz, a former standout Division 1 basketball player from Fairfield University, is set to take charge of Downtown Sports’ training and player development programming. With an impressive background as the Camp Director for the Brooklyn Nets and ESF camps, DaCruz has proven her prowess in organizing, recruiting, and training both campers and staff at basketball camps and clinics.
Her professional journey has been marked by accolades and recognition for her exceptional professionalism, work ethic, and talent as a trainer-coach. Known for her strong mentorship skills, DaCruz is admired for her ability to build meaningful relationships with young athletes, inspiring and guiding them both on and off the court.
As a player, DaCruz etched her name in Fairfield University’s history by appearing in 124 games, ranking sixth in program history. Her adept playmaking skills led to 405 assists during her career, placing her ninth in the university’s record books. Following her college days, she continued her basketball journey professionally, playing in Carlow, Ireland, for two seasons.
DaCruz’s diverse experience extends beyond the court, as she served as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Fairfield stag coaching staff in 2015-2016. Additionally, she contributed to the NBA in Basketball Operations, handling responsibilities for the G-league and managing social media production for the NBA’s platforms.
