We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership in youth basketball that will take our programs to the next level! Downtown Sports (Gym Ratz AAU) has teamed up with STACK AAU Basketball to create an incredible alliance for the North New Jersey–Rockland areas.

This collaboration combines the strengths of both programs, enabling growth while staying committed to what matters most: skill development and providing the best training and club basketball experience in the region.

What This Means for You:

• Gym Ratz AAU Girls Program: Relaunching in Spring 2025, the girls’ program will be led by our incredible team:
  • Sydney Watkins, our new Gym Ratz AAU Club Director (full bio online).
  • Michelle Sidor, our Director of Basketball Training (full bio online).
• STACK Basketball Boys Program: Continuing to offer premier basketball training, clinics, camps, and AAU team play for boys in grades 3 through 12.

Facilities and Locations:

• Downtown Sports will remain the headquarters for Gym Ratz AAU girls’ practices, training, games, and summer camps.
• STACK Basketball (Mahwah) will serve as the boys’ hub, offering top-notch facilities for all basketball programs.

Both clubs are equipped with newly renovated, state-of-the-art courts to provide the best environment for learning and competition.

Our Mission:

At the heart of everything we do is the goal to help players “Learn Life Lessons through Sports.” With carefully selected, certified, and highly experienced coaches, our programs focus on developing basketball fundamentals and fostering mentorship both on and off the court.
